The Everything Post

Wow, it’s been over a month since my last post… and what a crazy busy month it’s been. So far 2013 is shaping up really well, and there are a lot of things I’m working on for later this year. I haven’t given a solid update on the state of things in a while so, this post will hopefully catch us all up before I move into summer reviews and tutorials.

I took some time after the end of the semester to decompress. I took Loretta and Zero camping in Michigan (see Loretta’s post about it here: creatively-driven.com), I sorted through my office and apartment, I cleaned out the clutter and got reset, and now I’m finally ready to look back at how much actually happened that last few months.

Perpetually Playing Catch Up

After weeks of non-stop working, I finally “took a day off.” The last few months have been crazy hectic. Between schoolwork, work-work, a new puppy, personal projects, and blogs, I haven’t had a solid day to just relax. Yesterday and today I took time to clean my apartment and cook a decent meal, but my “day off” is in quotes because the work never ends. I have one more production (shooting this week) to get through before I can really take a breather. And, with NAB next week, it couldn’t come at a better time.

Grad School Week 4,5,6

I haven't posted about my experiences in the Columbia College Creative Producing MFA program for the last three weeks. I know, I've been bad. But, I've also been absolutely swamped; both with school work, and with work-work. But, here's the summary for the last three...

Widen Media Reboot

Loretta (lorettamaydesign.com) and I have been busy redesigning and updating my new website. And I'm pleased to say that it is now, in the words of Emperor Palpatine, "Fully Operational!" www.widenmedia.com I'm excited about this for multiple reasons. 1) This marks the first update to my website since June of 2010....

Work, No Work, Work

It's been an interesting week, to say the least. Now prepare for my ramble. Let's start from the beginning, shall we. Tuesday was my last day working with Teachscape Inc. (http://www.teachscape.com)on the Measures of Effective Teaching (MET) Project, that's funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates...
