Post NAB 2014 Spotlight: Airbox Lights

Now that the 2014 NAB show in Las Vegas is over it’s time to do some coverage! Starting on April 11th and going until the end of the month I will be doing a spotlight on what was good at the show. Each day I’ll focus on something new that I saw. *note* These are being released in no particular order*

Airbox Lights

Nestled deep in the far corner of central hall was this little booth that I walked right by multiple times. It wasn’t until one of my friends took me to the booth that I even found these awesome softboxes for LED lights.

The Airbox Lights are inflatable softboxes that trap onto the front of any LED light, they come in multiple sizes from 1×1 panels all the way down to mini-lights. The 1×1 version sells for $99 and offer great diffusion for the harsh throw from LEDs.

What’s great about them is that because they’re inflatable they pack down small and are lightweight; which keeps in line with LED production. They’re easy to use and strap onto the face of the panel. They’re such a great deal that I bought two right there on the show floor (full review coming soon).
